What Will You Learn?
Data Analysis with Python and SQL
Advance your programming skills and refine your ability to work with messy, complex datasets. You’ll learn to manipulate and prepare data for analysis, and create visualisations for data exploration. Finally, you’ll learn to use your data skills to tell a story with data.
Data Analysis Process
Learn about the key steps of the data analysis process.
Work with multiple datasets
Investigate multiple datasets using Python and Pandas.
Data Wrangling
Identify each step of the data wrangling process (gathering, assessing, and cleaning).
Data Visualisation with Python
Assess data visually and programmatically using pandas.
Categorising Data
Identify data quality issues and categorise them using metrics: validity, accuracy, completeness, consistency, and uniformity.
Explanatory vs exploratory Analysis
Know what distinguishes exploratory analysis from Explanatory analysis and the role of data visualisation in each.
Visual Encodings
Know different encodings that can be used to depict data in visualisations.
Storytelling
Know different encodings that can be used to depict data in visualisations.
